• Licensed Content Distribution: Small to mid-sized broadcasters or video-on-demand (VOD) services may provide an M3U playlist to their paid subscribers as a flexible way to access their legally licensed content. This allows subscribers to use their preferred player.
• Streaming Legally Free-to-Air (FTA) Channels: Many public broadcasters and independent channels offer an official, free M3U stream of their content. A user can compile an M3U playlist of these public, authorized streams and use the player to organize them.
• Personal Media & Home Server Streaming: Users who run a personal media server (like Plex or Jellyfin) or a custom home automation system (like Home Assistant) can generate an M3U playlist of their legally purchased or personally owned local media files (movies, music, home videos) and stream them to their TV via the app.
• Live Event & Conference Streaming: Organizations can use the M3U player to broadcast live streams of conferences, meetings, or church services from a secure, private stream URL to authorized internal members or paying online attendees.
• Testing and Development: Software developers, streaming platform engineers, and Quality Assurance (QA) professionals use these players to test HLS/M3U8 streams for new video platforms, ensuring compatibility, quality, and smooth playback before launch.

Legitimate User Segments

Utilizing our services means you admit that you are following our legal use cases and fall within our outlined legitimate user segments, which are considered extensions of this agreement, and admit that any use beyond the outlined legitimate user segments is prohibited and the responsibility lies only on the user in case of any violations:

• IT/AV Professionals: Those who install and configure the player on corporate display systems, hotel TVs, or campus networks to manage the company’s officially licensed or internal content feed where they obtain the proper copyright permission to their broadcast content.
• Licensed Content Distribution: Small to mid-sized broadcasters or video-on-demand (VOD) services may provide an M3U playlist to their paid subscribers as a flexible way to access their legally licensed content. This allows subscribers to use their preferred player.
• Hospitality & Retail Businesses: Those who use our app to manage a controlled set of channels (e.g., promotional videos, information channels, or officially licensed news channels) displayed on lobby or retail screens via a pre-set M3U list under their own copyrights.
• Media Enthusiasts/Technologists: Those who seek a customizable, single interface to organize all their authorized streaming sources, including free public streams and their own local media server content, on a single device like an Amazon Fire Stick or Smart TV.
• Small Content Creators/Niche Broadcasters: Those who provide an M3U playlist to their paying customers as the mechanism for accessing their exclusive, licensed content, offering flexibility over forcing them to use a proprietary app.
• Expatriates/Global Citizens (Limited Use): Those who may combine legal streams of their home country’s public broadcasters with a legally acquired premium subscription (if one is offered as a playlist) to consolidate their viewing experience.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Your access to and use of IBO is subject to these Terms and Conditions. The website is not to be used for any unlawful purposes or in ways that these Terms and Conditions prohibit. Acceptance of these terms is mandatory for using the website. Non-acceptance requires cessation of website use.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

VPN or Proxy usage

The use of VPNs or proxy servers is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension.

Compatibility and Internet Service

Access to services requires devices that meet our system and compatibility prerequisites. Users are responsible for their own internet service and data usage.

Payment Information and Billing

Payment information will be shared with banks as necessary. While we employ modern security measures, we cannot guarantee complete security of payment information. Misuse of payment information is not our liability.

Rates and Prices

You acknowledge being informed about the service nature, rates, and charges, which are subject to change. Payments are due immediately, are non-refundable, and must comply with the terms even if services are suspended, terminated, or transferred.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day testing period before purchase but do not provide refunds for any issues that may arise post-purchase, including device malfunction or internet connectivity issues. We cannot guarantee the uninterrupted functionality of all channels.
